30 Day Music Challenge - Day 15: A Song That Describes You

This was a hard one. Had to think about this one for a minute, I know there’s a handful of songs that describe me but couldn’t think of all but one came to mind. New Soul by Yael Naim.

I like the video also because it goes with the song. In the video, she’s painting a picture of how she thinks the world is. Then she realized something wasn’t right. She pushes the wall, coming out her box to realize that there’s way more out here then she believed. At this part of the video, she was saying.

I felt the exact same way as she put it when I realized that things weren't as I believed them to be. Took a while to except it but I'm glad I did because it feels like I'm in a better place knowing that there's infinite possibilities instead of just one.

When I get to talking out the box, I lose people. I lose some to the point that they walk away or lose respect for me. Close minded seem to always fall behind and never can figure out why things aren’t the way they believe them to be.

I give this song 3 thumbs or I should say 2 thumbs and 1 big toe. Since I first listened to the words of this song, I’ve wanted to put this song in a blog. I’ve also wanted to blog using New Soul by Wale, it describes me too. I’ll do that another time.
