They Did It Again

Just like last year, I was just doing what I would normally do in Fakebook. Left my computer on for a couple hours as usual and when I returned to it. I was signed out of Fakebook. It happens so I tried to sign back in.

This is what I got. I was like, “damn again?”. I was thinking they were tripping because of my name but why would they trip off that if they approved the name when I first sign up? 

I clicked on Account Disabled because I had questions and concerns.

Now I was really tripping. Harassment??? What? Who? When? How? I literately was trying to think of all the comments I made that morning. Let’s so, women are crazy….Boston Celtics going all the way…Rondo is a beast…didn’t know you could spit…I don’t know. Nothing seemed to sound like harassment to me?? Well, maybe that part were women are crazy but that’s what the status was about and I have a strong case to argue that they are(well a lot of them are). I’d assume that half the people that commented would’ve had their accounts disabled?

I finally wrote Fakebook about it. Of course the email I got from them was 

I wasn’t tripping off this response as much as I was last year but there’s something I don’t understand about it. When you sign up to a site, they usually have you input everything that’s needed to know about you or what you would need to know to confirm who you are if something would go wrong. Not Fakebook, they want some other stuff that was never used from the start. I’d think, just writing from that email address was enough to verify you. I mean, don’t they send you a password if you forget yours, to the email address you use to sign in? Maybe I’m tripping but my gut feeling is telling me that’s something is really wrong with this.

Either I had a weak moment or something but I gave them what they wanted, a drivers ID and explained to them that I don’t use my government name( with a picture online) for personal reasons and I wasn’t sure how this would verify anything.

After like 2 days, I got a response saying something like I have multi accounts. That’s against the rules and can result in my account being disabled. They can’t merge my accounts so I needed to pick the one I’m going to use, blah blah blah, confirm the account you want to keep by giving a description of the profile pic. Umm, I really don’t remember it was, haa, I saw it every day. Confirm about when the account was started, any other info to help identify the account I want to keep. HOLD UP……..

…when I signed up from the jumped. It said that I couldn’t create more than one account under the same email address. I wrote them from the email address I use to sign in, told them that in the beginning. How is there more than one account and why is so hard to verify the account I’m talking about? And still have not gotten any answer to the original question about why my account was disabled in the first place and what did it have to do with harassment. 

I don’t know but I’ve had a few days to think about it all even though I have NOTHING to go off of. I guess if they deleted my account, I’ll just have to except that. I probably won’t be signing back up to Fakebook for a while. Just not interested in setting up shop just to have to taking away without reason. Getting on Fakebook is a habit more than anything anymore. I’ll get over it. 

Then I wondered, did anyone ever realize I was gone? No one has hit me with a text or anything asking.
